Museum of Flight Tower

Seattle, WA

First in the Nation to showcase a live air traffic control system, located on an active runway, the Simulated Air Traffic Control Tower is located at the east side of the existing building overlooking the Boeing Air Field.

In October 1997 the building was selected by the Seattle American Institute of Architects as Project of the Month. The project was published in the June 1997 issue of the national AIArchitect publication. Seattle's Daily Journal of Commerce also covered the award (read more here).
